It is not easy to express how grateful we are for your continuous encouragement and support. Even though everyone is facing personal challenges, you remain to demonstrate extraordinary approaches to support our communities during this crisis.
Your contribution has allowed us to provide meals to families and individuals from all backgrounds in the Bay Area communities, we drove over 150 miles and many hours volunteer work per day for shopping and delivering food from San Francisco to South Bay and East Bay!

THE COMMUNITY KITCHEN & DELIVERY SERVICES: KURDISH HOSPITALITY THROUGH THE PANDEMIC
Project Description, Goals, Relevance, and Objectives
During these difficult times, the coronavirus (COVID-19) as it spreads throughout the country. As a community-based volunteer, we take seriously our role to continue helping residents, and Kurdish communities in Bay Area, while the health and safety of our community is our top priority. We wish you and your famil the best as we progress through these challenges. Thus, The Hesara Organization and the Kurdish community-based volunteers, are introducing the Community Kitchen & Delivery Services: Kurdish Hospitality Through the Pandemic.
Daily Dinner Meals
Offer selection dinner daily to our community in Bay Area, depending on the type of grocery and ingredients we receive. Our dinner menu includes complete meals and a variety of dinner entrees, soups, and with fresh and seasonal produce, meat ( Halal chicken, beef and lamb) , rice sandwich, wrappers and gyros.
Our menu can be modified to meet the nature of the urgency of the current crisis and special nutritional needs of our community. Volunteers deliver dinner every day so that families can enjoy eating at home.
To meet basic needs of our community during these challenges and pandemic, we offer free meals and delivery services, with the hot meals. Thus, community members may receive their meals every day, on weekdays, and many times weekend.
Delivery Service Options: Shopping and Home-Delivered Groceries
The type of delivery service is based on a community member’s physical and mental abilities, some of our community members have limited resources and can’t shop by themselves for groceries. We provide free rides and helping them with shopping process that include a ride to the grocery stores, purchasing, loading and unloading groceries for community members with limited ability and mobility.
Through this project, “all community-based volunteers are invited for the better community service. The objective of the kitchen and delivery services is to increase access to food for the community. Food access means that community members can obtain available, clean and healthy food.
Timeline
The Activities of the Community Kitchen & Delivery Services: Kurdish Hospitality Through the Pandemic and the details of the timeline of the project will be changed based on community-based volunteers availability, also, grocery, ingredient and food donation to the project, The Community Kitchen & Delivery services will be counting during this pandemic.
Budget
We have to commence this project without appropriate fund and no immediate fund available for implementing the project, However, due to the nature of the urgency of this pandemic and accessing the community needs, this project will run almost entirely on community-based crew volunteers, kitchen space-restaurant provided, cars availability for delivery, food, grocery and all other necessary ingredients, stuffs and tools donations by community members for the Community Kitchen & Delivery Services: Kurdish Hospitality Through the Pandemic project.

Evaluation
The monitoring and evaluation plan for the Community Kitchen & Delivery Services: Kurdish Hospitality Through the Pandemic project will serve two functions: the project implementation and performance of activities and the evaluation of the impact of project. The Hesara Organization will provide answers on the progress and impact made by the project in achieving the project’s goal.
Project performance: This project will be directed and monitored closely by the Hesara Organization.
Project impact: The Hesara Organization team will evaluate the project’s success in achieving the goal. Additionally, we will monitor an evaluation of the project’s success toward its outcomes continuously throughout the project. Furthermore, we will collect reliable and impact data at the beginning of the project activities and during project implementation.
