Organization Background

The Fix Organization is a nonprofit organization, also, Fix Organization meets the requirements and obtained 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status that qualifies for tax-exempt status by IRS under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Thus, Hesara Organization qualifies as a nonprofit organization to receive funds.

Every additional voice that we can add would make Hesara stronger. Additionally, we recognize that new members bring new ideas. Fix Organization accepts applications from individuals for full-time or part-time internships. The internship is a unique opportunity for everyone to work gain experience in the day-to-day operations of a non-profit organization.


Internship Positions Including

Web Developer: Our organization is seeking a creative Web Developer that can work with us to achieve our organization digital goal. The ideal candidate for this position who has knowledge of content management platforms, and an ability to translate our organization needs that will expand our website's influence in our community. The Web Developer will be responsible for updating our current online applications, as well as developing and implementing our organization needs.

Translator: As a translator, you will convert written material from one or more 'source languages' into the 'target language,' or vice versa. Making sure that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible. You typically need providing you are fluent in two or more languages with a degree in any subject. However, certain degrees may increase your chances of securing this position.

Community Outreach Coordinator: A community outreach coordinator connects the public to the organization. He or she promotes the mission of the nonprofit among the local community. A community outreach coordinator might organize events, recruit volunteers, or arrange other projects to get the community excited about and invested in the organization.

Development Director: The development director is responsible for spearheading an organization’s fundraising efforts. They might develop a fundraising plan, secure financial support, run special events for donors, and run other projects to ensure the organization meets its annual goals. This job title is similar to that of a fundraising manager.

Grant Writer: A grant writer might work underneath the development director. He or she completes applications for funding (typically applications to foundations, the government, or a trust). The grant writer works with the development director to make sure the nonprofit achieves its annual financial goals.

Program Manager: A program manager works to implement a variety of projects related to a nonprofit’s mission. The manager will develop the project, make sure it is well run, and ensure that goals are met. There are also many positions under the program manager, such as project manager, program associate, and program assistant.

Volunteer Coordinator: A volunteer coordinator manages all elements of the volunteer force. He or she is typically responsible for recruiting, hiring, and placing volunteers, as well as training and managing them.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

A successful candidate should have a minimum of a College degree, with a minimum of one year of work experience in a nonprofit, an educational program and/or experience in a relevant community and public service programs. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated knowledge of Hesar's mission and programs, and experience working with nonprofit, community or public service programs.


Critical Skills and Requirements

●        Excellent ability to support positive interactions with the Hesara team including: staff, volunteers, and corporate/partners organizations.

●        Strong organizational skills, Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing needs and balance competing responsibilities (detail-oriented and ability to multi-task).

●        Ability to work independently and with others.

●        Strong organizational, administrative and problem-solving skills.

●        Ability to exercise administrative judgment and keep leadership aware of concerns.

●        Strong communication skills, written, oral and presentation skills.

●        Working computer skills with MS office tool suite and online administrative information systems. (specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

●        Willingness and capability to develop effective user skills in social media, website blogs, and other communications.
